Noise from the courtyard can be intrusive, especially during mornings and late evenings, which could impact relaxation. Some rooms have maintenance issues, like broken lights and weak window latches that detract from the overall comfort and ambiance.

The breakfast was amaze-balls! 🍳 Plus, the jacuzzi and rooftop area were fab for relaxing after our windy walks. The only downside was that our room was a tad dusty. Overall, a lovely stay!

The design of the Riad Dar Maya stands out with its modern and elegant decor. The rooftop terrace offered a truly relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after exploring the medina. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served at flexible hours, giving me the freedom to start my day on my own terms. The staff were exceptional in their attentiveness and hospitality, contributing significantly to the overall experience. However, noise from the interior courtyard could be heard during early mornings and late nights, impacting the tranquility of my stay. Additionally, some lights in my room were broken, which detracted from the otherwise charming ambiance. The location is conveniently central, making it easy to explore the vibrant surroundings without feeling overwhelmed.

Youssef and Tariq went above and beyond, ensuring we felt at home while also arranging transport and restaurant reservations effortlessly.

Staying with my teens was a breeze! The heated rooftop plunge pool was a hit, and we loved having breakfast up there with stunning views between the white minarets of Essaouira. Gareth and his team were incredibly warm and made us feel at home.

My kids wished for more activities nearby.

Rooms can be quite dark, which might not suit everyone's taste. Accessing some areas can feel a bit awkward due to layout, requiring careful navigation for comfort.
